THE VIBRATING BODY | EUGENIO RAVO
“Il corpo che vibra” (“The vibrating body”), the experiential theatrical path I propose, explores the potentials of being, sound, voice and movement. The focus will be on those sensorial aspects of body-to-mind relationships, on elan-vital emotions, on slow and unperceivable movement, on revealing contact/ touch, on that healthy energy which promotes taking care of oneself while generating simplicity in action. Experienced time is conceived as a sort of unicity of actions, a dynamic game of synergy among participants, the human being’s ability to “stand” today’s vicissitudes and struggles.
We will work on our awareness of being a global, resonating body, a compass-like entity in space; the space of feelings, of perceiving and of affectivity. It is paramount to know our instrument, which moves and vibrates as well as its hidden potential; to touch, feel, perceive, imagine; to contact, disclose, marvel; to reawaken intuition, to be “ movement” through a restored energy.
P.S: All participants should wear comfortable clothes; we will work barefoot.
The workshop is addressed to amateurs and experts.
