THERMOPLASTIC | EUDALD FERRÉ
The course, led by catalan artist Eudald Ferré, is aimed learning techniques of use of the thermoplastic, moldable material due to the head.
The course, articolated in 30 hours, follows the following work phases: design (drawings and sketches), modeling clay and consequently, learning techniques to obtain the plaster cast. Finally, we proceed to the final stage, dealing with the specification of the thermoplastic material and its coloration.
We will learn to design a figure or theatrical element to make a fraction of mask/prosthetics molding clay, theatrical objects or artifacts of free creation.
Thermoplastic is a very versatile material used in different artistic disciplines: in films (special effects), theater, puppetry, performances as well as in the orthopedic field and graphic design.
- Manufacture of structure modeling.

- Making negative sculpture with a plaster cast.
- Modeling with the thermoplastic.
- Finishing touch and brush painting.
The workshop is addressed to amateurs and experts.

Eudald Ferré Serra
He has worked as actor and puppeteer since 1984.
He graduated at the Institute del Teatre in Barcelona (directed by Josep M. Carbonell, Alfred Casas and Joan Baixas), specializing in puppetry and objects theatre.
1986- 2014 he has been founder and member of the Pa Sucat theatre company.
He was artistic director of the GUANT, International Puppet Festival of Valls, (Catalonia) http://festivalguant.cat/
He has been director together with Luca Ronga of the Atelier della Luna – House International Theatre.
